Special encounter and eliminate Division [SeeD]
SeeD is the name of a mercenary force founded by Cid and Edea Kramer in Final Fantasy VIII. SeeD was started shortly after Edea received the dying Ultimecia's powers and met Squall Leonhart from the future who told her about the SeeD. To the outside world, SeeD is a mercenary force for hire, conducting missions around the world as battle support and undercover operatives. Their services are requested by governments and civilians; their tasks range from providing military support to protecting civilians.
